Using aluminum for our piping maximizes the area where heat is able to be transfered away from the intake air going into the engine as aluminum transfers heat much better than steel. The Bar and Plate Intercooler design not only provides superior temperature drops vs stock, but it also can recover fast after a full throttle pull on the street and dyno.
